MISSION STUFF Mission Excursion Fulfilling our call to be the hands and feet of Christ we wish to provide for a limited number of participants to join in a working missional opportunity. For those that would like to use the Saturday afternoon time for making a difference in the Louisville community we are arranging for several different Mission Facilities to open their doors - and let us help. We will have work projects all over town during the Noon-4:00 pm time on Saturday. If your group would like to use their free time in this way, please fill out the registration for to the right. There are a limited number of opportunities available, and we can only accommodate the first few groups to register, so register your group early. Here are the mission sites we are working with in 2012.. Christian Care Communities Edge Outreach Exit 0 Kavanaugh Life Enrichment Center Portland Promise Center St Matthews Area Ministries Wesley House. We are proud to be a supportive sponsor of each of these ministries and would be happy to put you in touch with them so that you may continue a supportive work.		Group registration for the Mission Excursion 2012 is currently closed. We thank all of those that have registered for this year and ask you to be sure and see Derek when you get to Broadbent Arena. If you wanted to participate but missed the deadline, we regret that we can not accomodate any more for this year... but hope that you will participate in a major way with our new Mountain of Love project and serve as a witness in this manner. 	NEW THIS YEAR! Mountain of Love We are excited this year to expand our missional outreach to bring food items to build at mountain of love at Winter Blitz. With this food we will support local back-pack projects in the Louisville Area that feed Elementary and Middle School kids on the free and reduced lunch program. During the Mission Excursion the food will be delivered and sorted. The youth group bringing the most cans will receive a fantastic reward for their efforts. Here are items that are needed: ALL CANS MUST BE POP-TOPS (do not need a can opener to open them) ¨ Vienna Sausages ¨ Soup or Chef Boyardee ¨ Pop Tarts ¨ Cereal Bowls ¨ Cereal Bars ¨ Fruit Cups ¨ Pudding/Jello (premade) ¨ Crackers ¨ Peanut Butter ¨ Rice Krispy Treats ¨ Individual sized Chips Mountain of Love We are excited this year to expand our missional outreach to bring food items to build at mountain of love at Winter Blitz.
